About Beth

Beth graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2011 having studied Structural Engineering and Architecture. Having worked in architectural and engineering practices in Sheffield and Gloucestershire, she is now settled at Build Collective where she works on projects ranging from domestic extensions and cracking surveys, to new build sports halls and high security NHS facilities.

Beth is a Certified PassivHaus Designer and group leader for the Bristol and Bath ‘Association of Environmentally Conscious Building (AECB)’ Local Group, which aims to encourage and support sustainable building across the area. She is a specialist in timber engineering and is passionate about making low-energy building available to all.

Build Collective is a bespoke engineering consultancy with a flexible and nimble approach to civil and structural engineering design. We enjoy working with steel, concrete, timber, masonry and glass to provide excellent and efficient engineering solutions to the diverse problems posed by new and existing buildings, landscapes and structures.
